Privacy policy

MyDatingPics reviews and improves dating-profile photos. It is run from Stockholm, Sweden, and is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions or requests go to hello@mydatingpics.com.

What we collect

• Your photos: the ones you upload, the screenshots you send for a review, and the photos we make from them.
• What you tell us: your answers about yourself (how you come across, what you do, what you’re looking for), anything you type or say into the voice box, and messages with your expert on Profile Pro.
• Account and payment details: your email address if you make an account or pay. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them.
• How the site is used: which steps you reach, which choices you make, and where you came from (for example the app or post that linked here). This is tied to a random ID stored on your device, not to your name.

What we use it for

• To read your photos, make new versions of them, and write your profile lines. This is the service you ask for.
• To take payment, deliver what you paid for, and answer you.
• To send you your expert’s notes, and one short email two weeks after buying asking whether the photos helped.
• To see which parts of the site work, so we can improve them.

We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, we don’t use your photos to identify you, and we don’t use your photos to train AI models. We never use your photos in our marketing unless you’ve told us in writing that we can.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of providers to run the service. Each handles your data only to do that job for us:

• Lovable and Supabase, which host the site, its database and your photos.
• OpenAI and Google (through Lovable’s AI gateway), whose AI models read and edit photos and write text.
• Stripe, which takes payments.
• Resend, which sends our emails.

Some of these providers process data outside the EU and EEA. Where they do, they rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

We keep your photos and answers so you can come back to your set. Ask us and we will delete your photos, answers and account within 30 days. We keep payment records for as long as Swedish accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@mydatingpics.com. If you aren’t happy with our answer, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the data protection authority where you live.

On your device

The site stores a few things in your browser so it works: an ID that holds your set when you have no account, the set you’re working on, the photos you added (so they survive a reload), and where you came from. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
